Rededication of the Freedom Wall at the Big D Parkway in June of 2008.

The Freedom Shrine, sponsored by the National Exchange Club, is a collection of photographic reproductions of original documents from American History.  The display includes the Bill of Rights, the Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.

The Freedom Shrine program is designed to remind Americans that the freedom and greatness we enjoy today were not purchased easily and that these gifts must be cherished and protected.  More than 12,000 Freedom Shrines have been dedicated in schools, military installations and government buildings sine the program began in 1949.

The Ogden Noon Exchange Club's most recent Freedom Shrine dedication was held in June 2010, at the Ogden Union Station.  Roy Gruber, Senior Pastor at Washington Heights Baptist Church, gave the dedication speech.

Our other Freedom Shrines are located in Two Rivers High School, the Weber County Library, the Weber County Building, St. Josephs High School, Bonneville High School, the Weber County Justice Center, the South Ogden Municipal Center and the Big D Parkway.
