Purpose
Exchange Club's exist for the purpose of serving others, improving our communities, and increasing appreciation of American Citizenship. Effective Exchange leaders enable clubs and members to reach new levels of service, growth, and fulfillment, so that even greater numbers of our fellow citizens can benefit from our organizations good works.
Covenant of Service
Accepting the divine privilege of single and collective responsibility as life's noblest gift, I covenant with my fellow Exchangites: "To consecrate my best energies to the uplifting of Social, Religious, Political, and Business Ideals; To discharge the debt I owe to those of high and low estate who have served and sacrificed that the heritage of American Citizenship might be mine; To honor and respect law, to serve my fellowmen, and to uphold the ideals and institutions of my Country; To implant the life-giving, society-building spirit of Service and Comradeship in my social and business relationships; To serve in Unity with those seeking better conditions, better understandings and greater opportunities for all."
History
Our club received its charter from National on December 11, 1936. We are proud that we still have a charter member listed on our rolls as a Friend of Exchange.
The Ogden Exchange Club is a member of the National Exchange Club with a membership of over 1800+ clubs located in all parts of the United States. The National Exchange is the largest civic club within the confines of the United States of America. We are a service organization and we fulfill many community needs as indicated in this web site. Along with our service to the community we also engage in social outings with other members and our families. By working together and playing together, we grow together.
We invite you to join the Ogden Exchange Club. Please email our president for an invitation to our Tuesday Lunch meeting. Click for Contact information.
